She has spent summers training at Nederlands Dans Theater, Springboard Dance Montreal, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, and Arts Umbrella. Through these opportunities she has performed works by Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, Robyn Mineko Williams, Jasmine Ellis, and Mark Caserta at Springboard Dance. She has also performed in a new piece by Jianhui Wang at Nederlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive and excerpts of work by William Forsythe, Mats Ek, and Tom Weinberger at Arts Umbrella SDI. She received the BC Arts Council Scholarship in 2015, 2016, and 2017, as well as the IATSE Local 891 Fine Arts Scholarship in 2015 and 2016. In her senior year at The Boston Conservatory she was named the annual Ruth Sandholm Ambrose Scholar for the 2018-19 year. Most recently, she has been featured as the principal dancer in “Rather Than Dreaming”, a new music video for artist Artemis Burr. Zoe finds many connections between her dance practice and her yoga practice, as she recently completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with One Yoga Thailand and currently teaches in the Vancouver community. Moving forward with her professional career she hopes to continue to develop her work and immerse herself in this art form.
